CVT Valve Body
CVT-limited valve body only. This page does not describe general valve bodies.
Design diagram only, not a product photograph.
A deliberately narrow page
This page is the one valve-body page on the CVT site, and its scope is narrow on purpose. The CVT link this page rests on is threefold: the parts table places the step motor in the valve-body section with the note CVT valve-body step motor; the company catalogue structure lists a valve-body section alongside the pulley and chain section; and the process documents describe bench testing of valve-body assemblies in step 6. General valve bodies, general valve-body assemblies and the integrated electronic valve bodies of other transmission families are not CVT parts, and they are not described here. A buyer who needs a general valve body should not use this page as a product page for one.
What the CVT valve body does, in general terms
In a CVT, the valve body directs hydraulic pressure to the parts that need it, including the pulley cylinder that moves a pulley and changes the ratio. The step motor is the CVT-linked control row inside that hydraulic story: it is the part that, by its table note, belongs to the CVT valve body. This page gives no valve-body specification, no pressure figure and no solenoid count, because the table gives none for the CVT valve body as a separate row, and a specification invented for this page would be a general valve-body claim wearing a CVT label.
If your need is a general valve body, say so in the inquiry and ask the supplier to confirm whether it is a CVT-limited part or a general part. Do not order from this page on the assumption that every valve body is a CVT valve body.
