CVT Pulley Cylinder
The CVT pulley cylinder: the core pressure-test part of a CVT, and the subject of the dedicated pressure test in process step 6.

The cylinder row
The parts table lists CVT Pulley Cylinder under CVT-only parts, with the note CVT core pressure-test part. That note gives this page its subject and its limit. The cylinder is the part whose pressure behaviour is tested on its own, separately from the general bench testing of other components, and it is the part whose pressure behaviour the dedicated test checks.
A pulley cylinder moves a pulley. Hydraulic pressure applied to the cylinder changes the pulley's working diameter, and with it the ratio. A cylinder that leaks internally, or that loses pressure, cannot hold the diameter it is asked to hold, and the ratio behaviour changes with it. The company process documents describe exactly that check in step 6: a dedicated pulley-cylinder pressure test, checking for internal leakage and pressure loss, alongside bench testing of solenoids, sensors and valve-body assemblies.
What this page does not claim
No cylinder dimension, pressure figure, seal specification or test threshold is published here, because the table and the process summary give none. The pressure-test guide explains the test in guide language: what internal leakage means, what pressure loss means, and what a buyer should ask a supplier who reports a test result. The guide does not turn those explanations into a pass mark, because no pass mark is given in the materials.
Ordering a cylinder should name the row, CVT Pulley Cylinder, and ask whether the cylinder is supplied alone or with its pulley, and ask for the quantity terms and lead time to be confirmed in writing.
