CVT Steel Belt

The steel belt of a pulley-and-steel-belt CVT: the same belt row, named for its steel construction.

Design diagram only, not a product photograph.

Why a separate steel-belt page

The assembly row in the parts table is described as pulley-and-steel-belt type, and the belt row is the CVT Belt. Buyers search for both the general name and the steel name, so this site carries both pages, with the steel page pointing back to the general belt page rather than repeating it as a different product. There is no separate steel-belt specification in the table, and this page does not invent one: no width, no length, no link count and no material grade is published here.

What the steel name does tell a buyer is the construction family to confirm in the inquiry. A steel belt is a belt built from steel elements, as opposed to a rubber belt of the kind used elsewhere, and a buyer ordering for a pulley-and-steel-belt assembly should confirm that the belt offered matches that family. The belt-sizes guide lists the questions that close that confirmation: the row name, the pulley set it pairs with, and the supplier's own size marking, asked for in writing rather than assumed.

Do not use this page as a size chart. The table gives no sizes, and a size chart built from general knowledge would be exactly the kind of unverified specification this site refuses to publish. If a size is needed, the inquiry checklist page shows how to ask for it.
