CVT Assembly Process

The ten-step process as the company documents describe it, with the CVT step marked: step 6, the pulley-cylinder pressure test.

The ten steps, in brief

The company process documents describe a ten-step remanufacturing process. In brief, the steps are: incoming inspection and full disassembly; defect screening and rejection of faulty parts; multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning and re-inspection; replacement of wear parts and upgrades for known weak points; precision pressing and valve-bore repair; component bench testing, including the CVT pulley-cylinder pressure test; housing refurbishment and sealing-surface preparation; high-precision standardised reassembly; full-load dynamometer testing of every finished unit as described; and final inspection with export-grade packing. This page summarises the documents. It does not claim that every unit a buyer orders has passed through every step in this exact form, because that is a claim about a specific order, and it should be confirmed for that order.

Where CVT appears in the process

CVT appears twice in a way that matters for this site. First, in step 2, defect screening covers pulleys among the core parts inspected, and worn, deformed, fatigued or out-of-tolerance parts are rejected rather than reused. Second, in step 6, CVT units receive the dedicated pulley-cylinder pressure test, checking for internal leakage and pressure loss, in addition to the bench testing of solenoids, sensors and valve-body assemblies. Those two steps are the process anchors for the pulley inspection page and the pressure-test guide, and both pages link back here.

Two process versions, one caution

The materials also contain a shorter eight-step workshop version of the process, which mentions a road test after fitting, where the ten-step version ends with bench testing. The documents do not say whether those are the same stage described differently, so this site does not merge them. A buyer who needs a road-test confirmation should ask for it explicitly in the inquiry, rather than assuming it from either version.
